No siempre son fotografías viejas que el cliente necesita restaurar; muchas veces no se toman las fotografías en el momento adecuado y, con el pasar del tiempo ya sea por acción natural o del hombre, el entorno cambia. Cuando un objeto distrae la publicación de una buena foto la edición y retoque son fundamentales y es allí cuando nosotros intervenimos.
Para cualquier retoque se debe conocer y estudiar algunos detalles como:a qué época, el origen, el entorno... todo lo que gira alrededor de la imagen.
